1872 Indian War Cav Officer Sabre Smaller scale for Cadet or made for a Child. Very well made, has traces of gilt on brass parts, handle is solid brass, with twisted brass wire applied pommel cap cast integral with grip, nice detail, 23" blade has nice polish, and wicked point if this were for child, it is 1/2" wide and almost 1/8" thick. Scabbard is nickle plated, nice condition some light waves and small flaws in surface that most viewers wouldn't notice, one dark bb size spot below lower mount band . Overall length is 28+1/2" in scabbard.
