This D guard has a 9+1/2" blade,14+1/2 overall, handle length isalmost 4+1/2". My hand fits with room to spare. The wooden handle is capped with iron ferruls on both ends. The blade shows some wear back by the hilt, some pitting + file marks under a nice dark patina.This knife shows forging flawshas a nice style to the rounded guard with long quillion jutting out over top of blade, not a large knife, but it makes up for that in style
